Half Term Helper Happiness
We had several farm helpers over half term, very needed as it's busy here looking after all the sheep and new lambs!
Stable Pals
February means lambing time starts at Road Farm and Joey and Shankydd are sharing the stable barn with a pen of bottle fed lambs (sleepless nights?!)
Conference Call
We're participating in Let Nature Feed Your Senses National Conference in Birmingham in November, including Care Farming UK's national AGM.
Local Rotary Visit
We will be visiting Missenden Abbey to tell our local vibrant Great Missenden Rotary all about RFCCIC in November.
Care Centre Visit
We walked across to visit our local Care Centre with The Boys, who were wonderful! All the residents enjoyed the chance to see and touch our donkeys, helping to bring back memories as well as provide special new ones. Thank you to Care Centre Manager Marie Shouler for enabling us to visit.
Donkey Arrival
Today (30th July) we took delivery of our two foster Donkeys Joey and Shankydd, who are enjoying settling in to their new home with us, forming an essential part of The Team!
Music and Appleyard Ducks
On the first weekend in July our local Pub, the Black Horse, hosted a Music and Beer festival in support of local charity Chiltern Music Therapy.
