We enjoyed a sweltering Open Farm Sunday afternoon with up to 300 visitors. Thank you to all who came, especially our stalwart helpers. Everyone adored seeing the busy honey bees in their carefully enclosed demonstration hive, brought along yet again by the wonderful Mr & Mrs Rickett, through the Mid Bucks Bee Keepers Association (also involved with Prestwood Nature). We were delighted to have folk musical accompaniment from Enoch’s Gold Hill Trappers, natural dyes to explore with Julia Phillips and of course Archery with Duncan Gray. All this on top of the beautiful farm to explore, including Nell the sheepdog’s unforgettable Chicken Challenge with Farmer David!
