Open Farm Sunday had around 250 visitors who enjoyed seeing the newly born piglets and meeting Nan and Etty our Golden Guernsey goats. Our Terrific Toilets Appeal is launched! We held our first Super Sizzling Sausage Supper complete with sausage making demonstration by Duncan; much fun had by all, with thanks to our helpers too. The Bucks Roving Artists spent a sunny day here using acrylics, water colours, oils and allsorts; we held an Apple chop and chatter and welcomed our first regular weekly Farm Helper! We had several farm helpers over half term, very needed as it's busy here looking after all the sheep and new lambs!
February means lambing time starts at Road Farm and Joey and Shankydd are sharing the stable barn with a pen of bottle fed lambs (sleepless nights?!)
