In August we were delighted to welcome the great Team from Future Roots Care Farm Countymen UK to inspire and train us. We’re starting a Countrymen’s Club for those with limited access to country interests due to health issues or isolation. Every week we continue to welcome a range of individuals and connected groups including [...]
We’ve kindly been donated some wonderful wood-working equipment from the Stanford family, some of which we’ve already been using to create items with the young men who come here, boosting their confidence as well as their skills. We’ve also been able to make some wonderful links with nationally involved and respected Wood Turners and hope [...]
We bought three wonderful Anglo Nubian x Boer kids from Odds Farm Park visitor centre in the late spring, with intention to breed from them next year. The Three Berries already had names: Blueberry, Raspberry and Mary Berry (!), and are enjoying developing their characters here: it’s usually Mary in the lead, but all are [...]
We attended both Wendover Celebrates and The Lee Flower show with Archery and with display boards, also the Prestwood Big Picnic. Bartletts Care Home Residents welcomed the donkeys to their Seaside Week for the 4th year in a row and as usual, much pleasure was had over a few short hours. We took the Trekinetic [...]

Everyone adored seeing the busy honey bees in their carefully enclosed demonstration hive, brought along yet again by the wonderful Mr & Mrs Rickett, through the Mid Bucks Bee Keepers Association (also involved with [...]

HUGE congratulations to Kieran and family for completing the Marlow Santa Fun Run on 3rd December. We are so proud of them and grateful for fundraising for us: on the day of the race they had raised £265, which was 88% of their target £300. Do please help them reach their milestone if you can! Members can decide what to do, be as active as personal ability allows in a farm environment, chew the cud with other members, [...]
