Families joined us for a Community Fun day of growing! Good to Grow Day is a national weekend of action for garden spaces to celebrate and prepare for the new growing season, showcase our activities and encourage people to volunteer. Find out more here.
Good to Grow at Road Farm
On Friday 22nd April we held our Good to Grow sessions where families were invited to our farm and orchard space, with their wellies and gardening gloves and dig in! There were lots of garden projects available for all ages and abilities, including:
- Helping plant and mulch our orchard trees
- Blossom search
- Identify the difference between straw and hay
- Meeting the guinea pigs
- Planting the national flower of Ukraine, the sunflower
- Building a wormery using recycled materials
- Refreshments available
We were able to host this event, thanks to the kind support from the Rothschild Foundation.
