Cycle Way Open event – Wednesday 27th May
As the new cycle way officially opens Wednesday 27th May, we’re excited to be part of the route and to welcome riders, walkers, families, and curious passers‑by to stop in and say hello.
We’ll have a friendly pop‑up stand right beside the path, where you can:
- Discover what we do here at Countryways CIC care farm and how we support wellbeing, learning, and community through nature
- Explore our Info Boards with stories, photos, and insights into daily life on the care farm
- See our adapted trikes — great fun for all ages and abilities.
- Watch our goats grazing the bank (weather permitting, of course as goats are fair-weather animals!)
- Meet some of our team and find out how you can get involved
Whether you’re cycling the whole route from the Black Horse to the Fire Crest, or just out for a gentle wander, we’d love you to pause for a moment, enjoy the view, and learn a little about what we do.
