A fabulous bat detecting and Star gazing evening!
Several local families joined us at the farm for an evening exploring the amazing world of bats! During the night time walk we spotted a selection of bats using special bat detectors, provided by our local expert Bat Man Mike, which included plenty of Pipistrelle bats and also apparently Noctule and Brown Long Eared bats.
We were hoping to use our telescope for some start gazing too, but unfortunately there was a little too much cloud cover.
