The Poetry Please group from Wendover Free Church were so inspired by the Pretty field and its lovely view that a new banner has been made for the church in time for Lent and celebrating Easter. The banner includes the intricacies of flowers like pyramidal orchids, lady’s bedstraw, oxeye daisy and grasses along with butterflies like the Marbled White, Common Blue and Meadow Brown. Everything comes from the meadow where one can “Be Still and Know that I am God”. We really do not want this to be spoiled by HS2.
